In order to identify and promote the activities of the Latvian motorcycle world, inform customers and draw attention to motorcycles as a means of transport, recreation, sports and entertainment, the event “Latvian Motorcycle of the Year 2025” is being organized.
It has been taking place since 2014 and, taking into account the C19 events and restrictions, in 2026 it will take place for the 11th time. General tests will be held at the track BKSB on May 14 with an awards ceremony in June.
At the final event, a traveling award will be presented, made by Latvia's most outstanding jeweler Oļegs Auzers.

In the “Latvian Motorcycle of the Year 2026” competition, the jury members are required to adhere to the Competition Regulations, which stipulate the technical procedure and evaluation criteria of the competition, as well as the Code of Ethics.
The contents of these regulatory documents must contribute to the organizational success of the competition and ensure the fairest or least subjective evaluation possible. Any member of the jury may be excluded from participation in the competition for flagrant non-compliance with the Regulations and the Code of Ethics.
